Charlie Thompson was the original founder of Thompson Homes. After returning home from WWII in 1944, Charlie took advantage of the GI Bill and attended Emory Law School. After graduation, he met and married the love of his life, Patti Lynn. Charlie and Patti were lifelong members of Peachtree Road United Methodist and raised five children. Charlie built homes in Atlanta until he retired in 1997.Patti and Charlie are both gone now and sadly missed by their children and grand-children.
